My name is Pedro Zapata Milla. As an abstract painter and digital illustrator born and raised in Mexico, I find inspiration all around me, from the people I encounter to the conversations I have, from the natural beauty of my surroundings to the act of observing and experiencing the world. My artwork is a reflection of my innermost thoughts and emotions, expressed through vibrant colors, dynamic shapes, and intricate patterns.
Through my work, I aim to capture the essence of the human experience, to explore the complexity of our emotions and the beauty of our differences. I draw from a variety of artistic traditions, from the bold and expressive strokes of abstract expressionists to the intricate and detailed patterns of traditional Mexican textiles.
As a Mexican artist, I also draw from my rich cultural heritage, infusing my work with symbolism and iconography that speaks to the traditions and values of my people. Ultimately, my art is a reflection of my own inner journey, and I hope to inspire others to embark on their own creative journeys of self-discovery and exploration.
